Remade In Portugal

Visual identity and comprehensive communication design for multiple editions of Remade in Portugal. Hosted at the EDP Foundation in Porto and Casa da Arquitectura in Matosinhos, this exhibition series focuses on the intersection of art, literature, and sustainability. The following selection highlights the design systems created for different editions, where custom typography and visual narratives were developed to reflect each specific theme.

The 8th edition of Remade in Portugal explored the Vitruvian concept of utilitas through found objects. Hosted at the EDP Foundation gallery in Porto, the identity was built using discarded items salvaged from around the city. The object-letters were found by me in trash bins and shot in studio by Douglas Rogerson.

The 7th edition, also held at EDP Foundation, centered on the intersection of art and literature through the theme of Traveling. The visual identity was built from a collection of travel ephemera—postcards, ticket stubs, and passports. By using zoomed-in details of these physical artifacts, the same details appeared across the catalogue and all printed materials.
